Geocache Description:

Another history lessonW. T. Brockington, wife and two children arrived in Canada in the fall of 1881. They picked their homestead from a homestead map in Woodstock, Ontario., and arrived in Brandon, Mb. in the spring of 1882.

In 1885 he had a stone house built on 10-3-27, which is still standing. This house overlooks the Souris river where buffalo bones can be pulled from the eroded river bank
This part of the river was one of the buffalo drops, where the animals were forced over the bank.
