Green Gloucester #1 Traditional Cache
3funboys: Sorry folks, cache has been muggled and gone without a trace. There is now some wall renovation work going on beside the cache and lots of evidence of caching around the cache site so we are archiving this one.

Our first cache in what we hope will be a series of caches in green spaces that we use near to central Gloucester.
The cache is a plastic click lock container with plenty of room for swaps etc (maybe 8" x 5"). Small kite and sweet treat for first to find!!
Will remain hidden even during the winter.
The cache is NOT in the churchyard.
Very flat terrain and easily accessible. The area is. VERY popular with children and dog walkers, there are some quieter times of day though. Only overlooked by a couple of houses.
The Park itself has some open grassland for ball games or whatever, as well as a small children's playground with swings, slides etc. Adjacent to the park is the wonderful City Farm which is open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday during its opening season. Toilets and cold drinks etc available during opening hours.
