A beautiful, well maintained bike trail on the north side of Mt. Manuel Quimper.
A regular sized loc'n loc hidden on one of my favorite winter-time hiking trails. This is a long and slow and easy way to get down Quimper. From the old fire lookout on top travel a bit NE to pick up this trail. A short distance down you will need to turn left to continue down the FM Trail. Keep your ears tuned and your eyeballs open for any bikers especially on the weekends, but we've never had any problems with sharing the trail. The outstanding views are at the top - this trail has beautiful sheets of moss covering the upper slopes of Quimper and a nicely treed peaceful forest on the way down. During the winter a couple of gullies collect the snow on the small trees turning it into a White Christmas. Enjoy.
