The terrain is flat. By bicycle you can ride right to the cache. By car you have to stop at a gate and walk about .15 miles Easy parking is at N46 56.915 W124008.937
This cache is near a VOR airways navigational facility which gives an aircraft it's position and distance from the VOR. VOR stands for Variable Omni Radio Range . This system has been used for several years dating back to the 1940s. When I was flying for UAL Hoquiam VOR was the first fix we could receive when returning from Hawaii and landing in Seattle. We could pick up the signal at about 200 miles. Enjoy the view from the lookout platform which is nearby-wetlands and ocean.
