Browns SD #625 Cairn brown school was built the summer of 1892. on two acres of land on NE 22-4-27. this land was donated by the brown family, hence the name for the schoo.l A new school was built in 1949, but due to lack of pupils it was closed 11 years later the district joined Melita consolidated
