This is a Flash Mob Event to celebrate the unique date of 10/10/10. Which goes nicely with Geocaching being 10 years old.

There are a few of these around the UK but none close to Stow, so for a bit of fun and to get you out of bed, come along and confuse the locals!

What is a Flash Mob Event?

If you are not familiar with a Flash Mob Event, the idea is to be close to the Event but blend in with the muggles, acting like a muggle. At the start of the Flash Mob Event, you all descend on the Event, sign the log, swap trackables and have a chat. At the end you all disperse as quickly as you came, leaving the locals wondering what on earth just happened!

The Event

The Event will begin precisely at 10:00am and conclude precisely at 10:10am.

You MUST be present and sign a log sheet DURING this time. Only Cachers with completed log sheets will be permitted to log an 'Attended' on this Event. The Log Sheet Box will be sealed at 10:10am EXACTLY! Logs not in the box when it is sealed will not count!

There will be a FTF draw with prize just before the Event ends from logs already in the Log Sheet Box. Hopefully we will get a group photo as well.

Keep a watch on the Event just in case of any updates.


Parking

There is parking in the Market Square, where the Event is but this may be busy. Alternatively, park in the car park by Tesco for a short walk into Stow. MAKE SURE you allow time for parking, I wouldn't want you to miss logging the Event as you were trying to find some where to park!
