Royal Oak: As the owner has not responded to my previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it. It is not normal to unarchive a cache, which has been archived due to a lack of maintenance.

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been hidden to celebrate 10 Years of Geocaching. To celebrate, special 10 Year Event Caches have been placed all over the world. The nearest one to this cache was held on Sunday 2nd May 2010 at The Cheshire Cat. All the 10 Year Events are celebrating the switching off of “Selective Availability” on 2nd May 2000, which means your GPS had an accuracy of 100m at best! Dave Ulmer placed the first ever Geocache and the next day, Geocaching had been born. The rest is history!

This cache is a quick and easy drive-by located at one end of a road bridge. It is not on the bridge but to the side because on the bridge, it would be quite dangerous. It is along Pearl Lane, a quiet road but cars can go fast so please watch with young geo-kids. Also please make sure you replace the cache exactly where you found it.
