Fumble Before Dark 2010


Mer information kommer att läggas till allt eftersom, och arrangörerna kommer att posta en note när så sker. Sätt gärna eventet på er watchlist för att ta del av alla uppdateringar.
Varmt välkomna till Sveriges största träff för geocachare, nämligen det årliga nattcachingeventet "Fumble After Dark", FAD, på den svenska västkusten. I år anordnas eventet för 8:e året i rad, vilket gör det till det äldsta årligen återkommande eventet i Sverige. Traditionsenligt äger eventet även i år rum under allhelgonahelgen. Efter att ha snubblat på målsnöret föregående år satsar vi nu på att genomföra det första MEGA-eventet i Sverige, det vill säga ett event med fler än 500 deltagare.

Fumble Before Dark 2010 arrangeras i samarbete med Intresseföreningen Geocaching i Sverige samt:

Även i år består FAD av två delar:
Fumble After Dark 2010 - nattcachingevent
Fumble Before Dark 2010 - teknikevent

Fumble Before Dark hålls på dagen före själva nattcachingeventet och består även i år av intressanta föreläsningar, mässa och utsällning samt andra aktiviteter. På plats serveras även lunch så att all kan få sig någonting i magen innan man beger sig ut i den mörka skogen.

I år hålls FBD i Häggvallsskolan på Tjörn
Exakt schema är ännu ej bestämt, men en viktig hålltid är klockan 11.00 då Fumble Before Dark drar igång. Vi håller sedan på i ett par timmar för att så småningom återsamlas på annan plats klockan 17.00 när Fumble After Dark startar. Den här sidan kommer att uppdateras med schema och annan viktig information allt eftersom den blir tillgänglig.

Welcome to the largest geocaching event in Sweden, the annual night caching event "Fumble After Dark", or FAD, on the west coast of Sweden. This year the event is held for the 8th year in a row, which makes it the oldest annual event in Sweden. This year, and by tradition, the event will be held during Halloween. After being really close last year, we will now aim for arranging the first MEGA event in Sweden, in other words an event with more than 500 participants.

Fumble Before Dark 2010 is arranged in cooperation with The Geocaching Society of Sweden and:

Also this year, FAD consists of two separate events:
Fumble After Dark 2010 - night geocaching event
Fumble Before Dark 2010 - technology event

Fumble Before Dark is held during daytime before the actual night caching event takes place, and will as previous years contain interesting lectures, a small trade show and exhibition as well as other activitites. There will also be a possibility to buy lunch on site, so everyone will be able to get something to eat before heading out in the woods.

This year will FBD be held at Häggvallsskolan on the island Tjörn
A detailed schedule is not yet decided, but an important time to keep is 11.00 when Fumble Before Dark starts. We will then keep ourselves occupied for a couple of hours before Fumble After Dark starts at 17.00. This page will continuously be updated as new information becomes available.
