A two-part multi-cache series. The first part is a microcache which will lead you on to the final, which is a small box cache about a 30 minute walk from the micro.
The first stage is a straightforward micro-cache containing the coordinates for the final. Coordinates are given in lat/long and OS grid so you will need a GPS - or an OS map and faith in our ability to get the grid reference right! It's a short walk along the footpath from the main road - yes the footpath does run through the car dealership. Ground zero is not in the car dealership and you don't need to enter the golf course to retrieve the cache. It's a small metalic capsule containing only the coordinates of the final.
There is a small layby just down the road from here (see waypoint) which is an option if arriving by car. The car dealership is not for use as a free car park (unless you're buying a car I guess!).
The second stage is an easy walk from the micro but does require using a few stiles and so on. There are a variety of farm animals around the final location so please take care and treat the animals with respect. The animals are probably friendly. You don't need to stray from the public footpaths to find either of these caches.
Aside from walking from the micro, you could drive and approach the final from the north or east. Either is possible and there are accesible footpaths both ways (although the one from the east is rather overgrown at one point). Walking is easier and more pleasant in our opinion - the paths here are not particularly well used but they are accessible and much safer than the roads.
In both cases please replace with care to keep the hiding places intact. The final can be overlooked at times so please be discreet.
