Geocache Description:

A short walk for a magnificent view

This cache is one more in an attempt to show people our beautiful Wairongomai valley.

Parking is available close at the parking lot . Coming from Te Aroha, drive about 4-5 km on Te Aroha Gordon Road, turn left on Waiorongomai Road and follow it right to the end.

From the car park go up the stairs to the left of the concrete ruins and
then follow the signposted Low Level Loop.

After a few minutes you will get to a sign pointing to the Fern Spur Incline , 1 minute walk to the left.

The cache is a micro but It should be an easy find.

Contains: Log book and pencil only.

Upon arrival at the location you have a real good view over the surrounding area.

The track is well signed and the location is easy to find.

You can read the history of the incline at the site.

There are plenty of walks in and around Te Aroha, if you need a map showing walks and tracks go see the Motelliers at Te Aroha Motel, they are happy to give you one.
