Butlers Incline,,,the easier way.
The cache is a small "Systema" container
Contains: Log book and pencil plus the usual Knicknacks.

FTF gets the Iraqi silver coin, which I once picked up from a market while in Iraq. Could be a collectors item, I guess
The cache is approx. halfway between the parking lot and the top of Butlers Incline
You can reach the top of Butlers Incline by climbing the incline it self....that's a hard option.
The better way is to follow the High Level Pack Track.
Parking is available close at the parking lot . Coming from Te Aroha, drive about 4-5 km on Te Aroha Gordon Road, turn left on Waiorongomai Road and follow it right to the end.
Take the steps behind the concrete ruins and follow the signs for the High Level Track.
The path crosses a number of streams before ascending to a bridge across
Butlers Incline. From there you have access to a number of other tracks, bringing a map along is a good thing!
There are plenty of walks in and around Te Aroha, if you need a map showing walks and tracks go see the Motelliers at Te Aroha Motel, they are happy to give you one.
