It is amazing how fast, as you move through the canyon, the surroundings change. Plus rangers and preserve maintenance go and water plants, plant them, remove non-native trees...
A gate, road to nowhere, and a little view into what they are doing.
Just as I placed this cache and it was found, workers removed the gate and fence that was there for ages... LPC does change fast, indeed!

For years I ride my bicycle in this canyon Many times I said to myself "here is the perfect place for a cache". I just never had time to do it, and a few fellow geocahers placed caches exactly where I thought to put them. At least I learned that my choices of places for caches make sense :)
Today I decided to place a few caches along not so crowded West end of the North LPC trail, at the places I like, find interesting for some reason, and sometimes make quick stops/breaks to enjoy the serenity and peacefulness of those spots.
