The 2nd cache in the M*A*S*H series hidden near Uijeongbu Cultural
Center in Uijeongbu-Si Korea. Cache is a bison tube so bring
tweezers if you have them. It will make it much easier to retrieve
the log.
Please make sure cache is hidden well when you put it
back.
To get to this area you can take green bus 10, 10-2, 10-3, 23,
23-1, 72-1 or blue bus 1001 to within .42 of a mile (.64 km)
walking distance.
M*A*S*H was an American medical drama/black comedy TV series. It
follows a team of doctors and support staff stationed at the 4077th
Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in Uijeongbu, South Korea, during the
Korean War. The series premiered on September 17, 1972, and ended
February 28, 1983, with the finale becoming the most-watched
television episode in U.S. television history with 105.97 million
viewers; this record stood until 2010 when Super Bowl XLIV
surpassed the record with 106.5 million viewers.
This cache is named after one of the characters in M.A.S.H. He
appears in every season, you can read about him at wikipedia.
When I got to Uijeongbu to teach at a local public school, I was
surprised at the lack of caches in the area. I hope my M*A*S*H
series of caches will remedy that. If you can, spread the love and
place some for me to find.
