Geocache Description:

Hiltingbury Lakes is located at Chandlers Ford and has about seventeen acres of water, woodland and wildlife. This community open space is right in the heart of the town and a place where you can enjoy walking, fishing or just watching the wildlife. This Cache is hidden on one of the 'islands' at the lower end of the Lakes. You will need to cross a very small inlet to get across to the island and the area can get pretty muddy, so no wheelchair access. Small children should be supervised.

This was one of our first caches, using a small plastic container with a few small items in there to swap. Once you've found this one, why not try our other one hidden away in Hocombe Mead - another beautiful spot for a walk with the family.
