Pack the boat and get nautical for this cache. Hidden along the shoreline of beautiful Raystown Lake, this cache will take you to our favorite place to anchor along the shore. The reason that this cache is rated a 5 for terrain is that you will need to access it from the lake, which will require the help of a boat.
To find the cache, you will need to hike about 100 feet back into the trees from the shoreline. The container is a plastic pink lemonade container inside of a ziplock bag. Inside, there is a log book, pencil, and a few items that my niece and nephew wanted to include since this was their first geocache that they are hiding. The area around the cache is not grown up too much, making the hike into the trees fairly easy. The cache is hidden so that you can pull your boat into the no wake zone, so you don't have to worry about other boats speeding by! The cache is hidden in a very typical place.
