MacIntosh Family Pioneer Cemetery
Early settlers to Upper Canada had a life much different than today.As family members passed away, other family members mourned their loss and celebrated the life of the departed. Final resting places were often in a tranquil and appropriate location on the homestead. I had driven by this spot many times when a geocaching Guru of the region asked if I had ever noticed this hidden family cemetery known as the MacIntosh Pioneer Cemetery. Upon visiting, I knew I wanted to share it with other geocachers in the area. Cache is a small container that will accept small trade items.
