Geocache Description:


Scarlet's Stash
Located in beautiful Bear Cove Park in Hingham, Mass. The park was a WWI&II U.S. Naval Ammunition Depot. Many of the bunkers are gone but some still remain. It borders the Weymouth Back River and offers views of the river, marsh land, and many bird species. There are many bike trails as well as woodland and marshland trails.

This small traditional cache is a Tupperware container. It is well off the paved path and may require some climbing, depending on how you get to it. This will require a bit of bushwacking, but nothing too serious. The view from the cache is amazing.

I suggest that you enter the woods at the waypoint labeled "Scenic Route (Trailhead)". This is how I originally found this spot. This way is a bit longer, but the adventure is worth it.

I named this cache after my little pup. She always loves to explore and she helped me find this little gem of a spot.
