Geocache Description:

Kayakers Kache #2 is intended for only experienced open water certified sea kayakers. A good, dependable sea kayak and all required training and safety equipment is needed to reach this location.

Please only attempt it on days when the local marine weather forecasts indicate favourable conditions and sea states. If you do not have these items and training, or the weather is not looking ideal please do not attempt this cache.

Found in historic Carbonear, Newfoundland Labrador, the view from this ocean area is great.

This should be a relatively short walk from the tiny beach after a nice paddle. One suggested access point to the island is a tiny beach on the Western end. Watch the submerged rocks just offshore from beach when landing and launching.

Please don't even think about climbing up or down the cliffs at ANY TIME regardless of personal expertise.

The cache itself is a small clear container camouflaged. Please rehide it carefully as this area gets a number of spectators at times.

Care and caution is always advised. The surrounding rocks can be very slippery when wet, snow-covered or icy. Don't head up the cliffs or out in the beach...regardless of what individual GPS readings may say. The cache is NOT anywhere near the cliffs or the ocean.
