A magnetic nano cache on the Providence riverfront, part of the East Coast Greenway.
A small boat ramp eases into the water here next to a slowly-stirring willow tree, and a pretty, round bus shelter stands at the curb. A kiosk a few yards to the northwest explains the history of this stretch of the riverfront: it was once a busy maze of streets and warehouses, but now boasts benches, grass, public art, and scenic views.
Standing here you can see at least four bridges, with the Fox Point Hurricane Barrier away to the southeast (your left). The giant stone blocks off to your right seem to make a staircase down into the river, and on the sidewalk there a great steel hoop like a blocky, steel Cheerio catches your eye and shines in the sunlight.
Change your vantage point and the cache will be visible. (No, it's not down in the weeds: ick.)
Bring a pen, there's not room for one in the tiny container.
