When looking for the cache, face east and enjoy the view of the Honey Lake Valley. Hopefully one day the lake will have water again but the mountains across the valley are beautiful.
There is good space for parking off the highway. The ground is soft and covered with needles and leaves. Take a short hike up the bank to solid ground. Cache is an old plastic (camo) peanut jar containing a log book, pen, the usual toys and trinkets. Also for the FTF is a gold $1.00.
