**You must follow the directions below to locate the cache**
**High Traffic Areas - Use Extreme Stealth**

This cache was placed as part of my 10 Years! - 10-10-10 Flash Mob - Chicago, IL (GC2EXYG) Event, and to celebrate 10 Years of Geocaching, the Binary Holiday, and Earthcache Day 2010!

This is a Letterbox Hybrid cache that takes you to the Hubbard Street Mural, otherwise known as the Weirdest Zoo in the World! The Zoo is open 24-hours, but the inhabitants are much better viewed in daylight. Begin your journey at the posted coordinates, making sure to follow the directions below. Other Zoo's may have plastic animal figures or Christmas lights displays, but this Zoo has a cache at the end!

Unlike most Zoo's, which have separate areas for "like" creatures, this Zoo has everything in one concise main Gallery, amazing as it may seem! Entering the Zoo Gallery, you'll notice that everything will be on your right. Start heading East, and you should immediately notice the two beautiful Sea Turtles, followed by a Buffalo, a Panda, some Whales, a couple of Horses, a bunch of Ducks, a Monkey, and a whole bunch of weird fish. Odd combination so far, but continuing on you'll see a Cow, a Dodo, some kind of digital animal, a Peace Dove, one Rhino, some bird houses, a couple of Frogs, one Tiger, some flowers, more birds, and two really cool looking Gecko's, a yellow bird, 4 Polar Bears, some abstract butterflies, and even a few endangered species (kept for repopulation efforts, of course!). You'll see another Flower, some people, and even the legendary Blues Man Buddy Guy occasionally, right next to more birds, a mocked up version of the Sun, some people shopping, a Bear, some train workers, a piece of the City, more abstract animals, and even a scuba diver with a Shark. I TOLD YOU this was the Weirdest Zoo in the World!

Keep heading East past more people (including one famous bald Chicagoan), 4 Seals, a bunch of Aztec animals, another Seal, another Turtle, more birds, more Seals, a girl who looks like she may be in pain, more Fish, another Park, more Aztec and Abstract animals, a mocked up version of Earth with fake people (nobody's that big in proportion to the planet), more birds, a big Dragonfly (I mean this sucker is HUGE), an island model, one spot that has a Gorilla, a Zebra, and a Deer in the same room (not normally found like this in nature), a Latino Wrestler (my Dad has always been a big fan of wrestling - make sure you note the color of the Stars on the flag behind him, you'll need this later!). There's another Panda (I wonder why they're split up?), but make sure you stop by N 41 53.403 W 087 39.092 and count how many "primary" characters are in this Aztec panel (you'll need this number later as well), before proceeding on to see more Tribal animals, more people (one with a big Cat), a bunch more Abstract animals, some Cars, a couple of Eagles, and a big Butterfly. Now, I bet you've never seen THAT type of collection in any Zoo before! I hope you enjoyed your visit!

Once you have reached the end of the Zoo Gallery, you should see a bridge ahead of you. Continue until you cross the bridge, and then turn left at the first intersection after the bridge (it comes up quick!). Proceed approximately 500 feet, and make another left turn at this intersection. You should be heading towards the setting sun. Proceed for the same number of blocks as there were "primary" Aztec characters on the panel in the Zoo Gallery (don't count alley's, only actual streets!). Look for the object familiar to geocachers, and that is the same color as the stars you saw in the flag behind the Latino Wrestler from the Zoo Gallery. You'll know you're in the right spot when you see a sign for someone with an animal nickname. Reach in and up to find the nicely camo'd Letterbox cache.

Please note that there are two bags inside the cache. One is the Geocache log sheet, and the other holds the stamp and stamp book. The stamp is hand-carved by me, and is in the image of an ancient Pirate symbol used many years ago. Please make sure you leave all of the items inside, and bring your own Ink for the stamp! You may also want to walk away from GZ to go through the cache, as it is hidden in a very busy area. Maybe keep walking a block or two while you sign/stamp in, and then return to stealthily place the cache back in it's hidey spot.

BYOP, and no swag, travel bugs, or geocoins in this one please.
