Déjà vu
Cachens namn kommer från namnet på konstverket som finns på samma
plats och som kan avnjutas i samband med letandet efter denna
Cache. Vid koordinaterna finns en penna, verktyg samt ledtråden som
leder er till Cachen.
The Cache name comes from the work of art name in the same location
and which can be enjoyed in connection with the search for this
cache. At the coordinates there is a pen, a tool and the clue that
leads you to the cache.
När Dragabrunnsgatan skulle göras om och parkeringarna framför det
så kallade H-Centrum fick lämna plats för nya idéer erbjöds
konstnären Ebba Matz uppdraget av Uppsala kommun och Lisen Hessner
att vara med om att skapa ett nytt torg.
Det blev då Dragabrunnstorg med konstverket Déjà vu som det
centrala i detta torg. Konstverket är 110 meter långt och 10 meter
brett. Det har en mittlinje som är en tänkt viklinje! När man viker
ett papper med bläckfläckar på så blir det symetriska bilder på
båda sidor, på samma sätt är torget uppbyggt. Det finns totalt 57
bläckfläckar på torget, av olika slag som tex. kragar och figurer
av rostfritt, polerat stål, fontän, sittmöbler i diabas mm.
Ett problem med dessa polerade stålfigurer har gjort att en del av
torget är avstängt vintertid då man lätt kan halka på de polerade
stålfigurerna.

When Dragabrunnsgatan would be rebuilt in front of the so-called
H-centrum, Uppsala Municipality offered artist Ebba Matz to be
involved in creating a new square.
It was then Dragabrunnstorg with artwork Déjà vu as the
center of this square. The artwork is 110 meters long and 10 meters
wide. It has a center line which is an imaginary folding line! When
to fold a paper with ink stains on it becomes symmetrical images on
both sides, in the same way, the square is built. There are a total
of 57 ink stains on the square, of various types such as collars
and shapes of stainless steel, polished steel, fountain, seating in
diabas. There is a problem with these slippery polished steel
shapes in winter that force the Municipality to rope off some part
of the square
