Geocache Description:


Katsuragi tosen was ferry that goes across Kiso river in Aichi Prefecture Aisai City (Old Tatsuta Village). Official name was Aichi Prefectural possession Katsuragi ferryboat place. It was opened as traffic method in Katsuragi Village it was separated by repair work of Kiso three rivers in the 20’s of Meiji Era. Later it became a part of the 119th in Aichi prefectural way and Gifu prefectural way (Tsushima-Tatsuta-Kaizu line), and operated free of charge by Aichi Prefecture. The ferry was abolished in 2011 March 30.

Cache is concealed in the embankment in the vicinity of ex ferryboat place. Only the car up to 2m in width can pass on the embankment road. Please note that the parking space is a little on the embankment when you come with the car. Please take care enough about the traffic of the vehicles when you search.

葛木渡船は愛知県愛西市（旧立田村）にある木曽川の渡し船で、正式には「愛知県営葛木渡船場」といいます。明治20年代の木曽三川の改修工事の際、分断された葛木村の交通手段として開設されました。その後、愛知県道・岐阜県道119号津島立田海津線の一部を構成するため、愛知県により無料で運行されていましたが、2011年3月30日に廃止されました。

キャッシュは渡船場跡地近くの堤防に隠されています。堤防道路は幅２ｍまでの車しか通行できません。堤防上には駐車スペースがわずかですので車でお越しの際はご注意ください。捜索の際には車の往来に十分気を付けてください。
