From ASK .COM....
Surprisingly, not many people know how to make coffee. At a job interview five years ago, I was introduced to the former secretary of a most prestigious Fortune 500 company. I was to take her place. She was moving to Europe somewhere. Everything was going well. My answers to his questions pleased him. Until my future boss asked me if I wanted something to drink, of course my response was a polite "no thank you", but he insisted and persisted. I agreed to have coffee. I should have asked for water because the coffee my predecessor made was so strong that you could hardly see it contained any milk or cream. One sip and I swallowed quickly. I said to myself, "I could've used this as lava for my science project in the 5th grade." My boss took a slurp and he just flipped out. Now I don't know what came over me but I got up, ran out the door and asked the secretary where the machine was. As I followed her, I noticed her face was bright red as a tomato and her eyes to the point of tears. Everyone around and in their offices with the doors wide open was staring. I got to the machine and she was already rambling on how tired she was of him screaming at her. She didn't realize the boss was halfway behind us. I opened the filter cup, cleaned it, dumped out the remaining coffee and taught her how make the perfect cup of coffee everytime, even at home. I made fresh coffee for everyone. I was so sure I wasn't getting the job that after running out of the interview and after a million thank yous' from everyone at the office. I quickly walked towards the fancy elevators. Someone tapped me on my shoulder, I turned around and my future boss said, "Ms.Vals, you don't want the job? Cause anyone who can make a better cup of coffee than Starbucks surely deserves a chance in my company. I was HIRED!!!! So, here you go, a perfect cup of coffee coming right up!!!
.Difficulty: Easy
Instructions.Things You'll Need:
Coffee grounds from any of your favorite kind of coffee. (I love Folgers).
A tablespoon.
Water.
Math.
1
First, ask yourself how many cups of coffee will I need. It this is just for yourself, fill the water in the coffee pitcher up to line where it says 2 cups. If you are making coffee for 4 people, you should fill it up to 6 cups of water in case anyone wants a second cup.

2
For every cup of water you use, add a tablespoon of coffee. Some coffee machines come with a measuring cup or spoon the get the exact amount.
Example: 2 cups of water = 2 tbs. of coffee
4 cups of water = 4 tbs. of coffee
6 cups of water = 6 tbs. of coffee

3
A perfect cup of coffee requires the right amount of coffee grounds and the right amount of water. It doesn't matter if you're making flavored coffee like hazelnut, vanilla, or mocha. You just have to use the right equal amounts of coffee and water. Enjoy!!
