Geocache Description:

Scenic circular walk from Cambus along the banks of the Forth.

A Core Path from Cambus to Alloa (Kelliebank).

Core Paths have been set up by Clackmannanshire Council - for more information go to (visit link)

This is the third of 4 caches placed on a scenic circular walk along the banks of the Forth that should take about 1 hour. Very popular path for runners, fishermen and dog walkers so some stealth will be required. After the first kissing gate, dogs will need to be kept on a lead as it skirts a field where there are usually sheep, and then passes near to the Orchard Farm (very friendly folks) with livestock, before picking up the cycle route 76 back to Cambus.

This cache is placed near what would appear to be a sheep sorting pen but is also used as a dump! Not pretty. However it looks across the mudflats to a small island in the Forth with lots of bird life, and great views back west to Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument (on a clear day!!).

This can be found without doing the first 3 by parking at N56 07.100 W003 49.104 and walking along the private farm road. Please do not attempt to drive to this cache as it is a private road for farm traffic only - and the road stops at the farm becoming a rough track. The farmers are friendly but don't think they'd appreciate cars!
