Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

If you walk a little ways from this cache you will find a new wall and road that was built after Hurricane Fabian destroyed it when the Island was hit on September 5, 2003.
This area received a beating recently from Hurricane Igor but survived.
Fabian was the worse hurricane to hit the island in many years and much damage was done. The Causeway to the only airport was completely distroyed and had to be rebuilt.
Bermudian people are very resilient and take hurricanes in stride.
The Island is already back to normal and other than trees dead from the salt spray, no one would know that a hurricane had recently hit the Island.
