Geocache Description:

As a Vice-Chief in the Wamblee Chapter of the Order of the Arrow, I am in charge of this months activity. Since I decided to offer the Geocaching Merit Badge as our activity, I'm inviting Geocachers to come and participate. Who better to help teach Geocaching than Geocachers?

What: Teach Scouts and others about Geocaching
Where: 8385 South 4800 West
When: Thursday October 14, 2010 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
Why: To have fun and share it with others.

Our OA meeting starts at 7:00 pm. But we thought it would be a good idea to start before that, not only to have some time to prepare, but to have some time to socialize as well. If you can't stay the whole time, that's fine, join us for as long you're able.

Geocachers: If you area able to come out and share what you know about Geocaching, we would love to have you join us. Be prepared to teach a group of people how to use a GPSr and cover the basics of Geocaching. If you have things to share (GPSr, cache containers, trackables, geocoins, etc.), please feel free to bring them as well.

If you are also a Scout or Scouter, please wear your BSA uniform. If you are an OA member, wear your sash.

We generally have between 25 to 30 Scouts attend our OA events in this chapter. If you would like to join us and learn about Geocacing and the OA, we would love to have you come.
