Geocache Description:

2nd installation in my SIGNS series.

As I travel about I am often intrigued by some of the random signs that I see. The city is doing construction work near my house and there is a big blinking sign that says "Beware of tall structures". It gives me a chuckle everytime I see it. What are the tall structures going to do to me and why should I beware?

This place is powerline central. These tall structures might wreak havoc on your GPS. But it's not a hard find. This cache can be accessed from my "Traveler's Cache: Atypical Vermont." with some serious bushwhacking through very tall weeds. It can also be reached via the access road to the power substation.

If you are comfortable driving all the way up to the fence (which i was not ) you can get to within 400 ft of this cache. If you park in the parking lot (as i did) it is a short, easy .19 mile walk. I had to give this cache a terrain rating of 2 due to the steep embankment one has to climb in order to reach the container. While the hide itself is winter friendly, the embankment won't be an easy climb in snow.

The FTF prize is hidden near the container. Instructions and coordinates for the FTF prize are in the cache.
