Christian Precinct Cache
This cache
was inspired by expat cachers who left Doha in early 2010 - jaxand.
When I was in South Africa a few months ago they asked me to please
place a cache here for them. This cache is for Brian and
Jacqueline. The cache is located near the new Roman Catholic
Cathedral that was completed in 2009. This area has been earmarked
for other churches as well. Currently there are at least 4
different churches in the process of erecting buildings.
If you
happen to be in the area on a Friday traffic could be a problem at
certain times as this is when the various churches are holding
their services. The roads are currently still very narrow and carry
a large volume of traffic on most days. This route is used as a
short cut to the Al Wakra highway.
The cache is
currently located where I thought that it would be relatively safe.
As the building operations progress and the area gets cleaned up I
will more than likely move the cache to a better location and
perhaps change the container as well. For now the location will
have to do.
