Welcome to Westhill's stonecircle!
I don't know how long this stone circle has been here. It looks fairly modern and in very good shape. So far I haven't been able to find out anything about it. I will keep looking for information, though. If I find anything, I'll update this description.
I'd lived in Westhill for a few years already when I discovered the stonecircle. The buildings in the vicinity are all quite new. I think I simply spied it one day when driving nearby. There are nice views of the town on the opposite hill if you turn around with your back to the stonecircle.
The original cache has disappeared, so I have replaced it. The cache is a small, round container with a screw top. When dropping off the replacement cache it contained a just log, but there is some space for goodies. I replaced the cache in a rush, so didn't have time to put anything in it.
