This location offers some awesome views of Palmerston North and
the surrounding area. You can park the car right next to the cache,
which effectively makes it a drive-by...
The reason for the high terrain is because the last few km of
the drive to the cache is over an unsealed road, and may prove
tricky for those without a 4WD. It should be very doable in a car
as the road itself is even and has many places to pass oncoming
traffic, but be careful. There is also a sign at the start of the
road indicating that logging trucks also use this road, so if you
are in doubt, wait till the weekend before attempting this one.
GZ itself is positioned in a location with a large area to park
off to the side, with ample room to turn around.
The cache is a 400ml camo painted sistema container with a log
book, pencil and the usual goodies. Make sure you bring a
camera.
