Local history spot. Stop in and check it out....Just off a road, with easy parking. A nice place for a break.
This cache was placed in the hope to lure more people into a little piece of local history.
Hawks nest was where gold was first found in the Ravie area. As happened in many other places a people flocked to the area. A tent city soon popped up.
Not far from thw cache site is where it was decided to form the town of Ravensthorpe.
Have a walk and a look around there is a huge ammount of evedence of what was once there.
