Cache on the Tugela Plateau The cache is easy to find, hidden in a crack between rocks. To reach the cache : one must start in free state from the Sentinel Car Park, make a hike, climb steep chainladders, walk over the plateau till the edge of the escarpment. Its a serious high altitude hike : do not underestimate it.
The Tugela source hike is maybe the best hike in the berg. The hike starts at 2500 meter altitude and should not be underestimated. Sudden weather change is possible. Unless you base jump down, you should count on a minimum of 6 hours to go up and back. If in the drakensbergen : go for this hike.
