Geocache Description:

The last cache in the Cowley County Parish circuit, offering a tremendous view to Cowley, Cockleford and beyond.

According to the plaque, the tree in the title was planted by her friends in memory of one Suzie Edney, who died, aged 19, in 1993. They found a lovely spot for it.

Note: to get back to the road, you can either climb the gate at the bottom of the field (the route in blue on the map below ... a bit naughty!) or be the good citizen and follow the footpath that joins a little further south.

*****   Congratulations -  FTF: Carrog   *****
STF: walk tall

Suzie's Pine is one of eight caches around Cowley County Parish ... why not get out there and see them all! I recommend tackling the circuit anticlockwise, starting/finishing at Cowley Village.

PS: to finish off, if you fancy a pint and still have a little bit of energy in those tired legs, then you may enjoy the walk shown below through Ward's Wood to a nearby pub. Watch out for the noisy ducks as you enter the wood!
