This gold ammo can has been placed in honor of TheGeoSleuth's 1000th cache found. This hike on an unnumbered State Game Lands will take you to a nice view of the valley below.
Parking can be found at the SGL Parking area along old route 220 (N40 58.600 W077 42.732) Follow the trail from the parking area up the hill for about 1.6 miles. The trail will then switchback toward the cache (another .8 miles away) and lead you to within about 800 feet of the cache. Those last 800 feet will require some bushwacking and a bit of rock hopping, but will be well worth the trip. Be advised there is about 800 hundred feet in elevation gain and about a 5 mile round trip hike as described.

As stated above, this cache is placed on PA State Game Lands, so please wear orange during any hunting season.
