Geocache Description:

Located just off a one lane public road that leads to a private road.

Cache is located along a nice easy walk along the south side of Rye Harbor. There may be some inconsistency with the exact latitude of this cache between the GPS listing and the claim of the spot. During the beach season, this cache may not be the easiest to drive up to so you may want to use the parking coordinates listed. There is a 30 minute parking area at the entrance to Rye Harbor. The cache is not more than 0.2 miles from the parking area so the cache can be reached in plenty of time. We were going to use the back parking lot of the Saunders Restaurant, but it has been torn down and the former lot area is now being developed. Further up the road is access to the south side jettes at the mouth of the harbor. There is an area to park which is closer to the cache, however use at your own risk as this is a No Parking area. The jettes are a great place to hang out on a nice day, try to fish for strippers, or just enjoy the NH seacoast surroundings.
