A Challenge cache placed in celebration
of Geocaching's 10th Anniversary
Logging Requirements: To log a “Found
it” for this cache, in addition to finding the cache and
signing the logbook, you must have:
Found a
cache published in each year
from 2000 to 2010
We enjoy working on challenge caches.
One that we are near completion on is The
Jasmer Challenge (Northern California Edition), GC1GBC1. That
challenge requires cachers to log finds on caches published every
month since May 2000. For some of the early months,
remaining caches are few and far between, requiring travel to
different corners of the US.
For this "Mini Jasmer," we challenge
to you a more achievable goal: to find a cache published in each
year.
The Rules and
Regulations
- Previous finds DO count, so
you may already qualify.
- Qualifying caches must have
physically been visited by you: Traditional, Multi-cache, Virtual,
Letterbox Hybrid, Unknown (Mystery), Webcam, Wherigo, Earthcache,
Event, CITO, Mega-Event, Project APE, GPS Adventure
Exhibit.
- You must demonstrate that you have
met this logging requirement by including your list of 11
qualifying caches in your Found log, or by attaching a screen shot
of your monthly coverage grid from GSAK.
- Cache is at the posted
coordinates, and is available from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. In order to
log a find, you must have fulfilled the Challenge requirements.
Logs not meeting the Challenge requirements will be
deleted.
Below is our list of qualifying
caches for this challenge. While we have many finds over the 10
year period, this list includes active caches that are closest in
proximity to the challenge cache. GSAK will help sorting through
caches you've already found. Pocket queries help in locating
qualifying caches.
* Distance to the challenge cache.
Caches for most years can be obtained within a short drive from
this challenge cache. Distance information is not required in find
logs.
Congratulations to OJWan for First to
Find!
Special
thanks to
