NLC Lost Series #15 - The Heart of the Island located in Nehantic
State Forest. There are some hints to the other series caches very
nearby this one, if you are having trouble with some of the other
stages. Equation entry is on the logbook and on the swag.
Best parking is to travel about .5 miles down Keeny Rd off from Rte
156 which is the marked entrance of the park. It can be a little
confusing to first time visitors because Keeny Road is a one lane
dirt road, but you can drive down it and in fact it will eventually
lead to a picnic area about 3 miles further up. There is a pull off
very near the short trail to the cache on your left.
This cache series was inspired by the critically-acclaimed
television series. Hopefully I was able to do it justice, in the
spirit of its intellectual greatness. In order to complete the
entire series you will need to complete the equations posted on the
cache page of the series final. GC2FA6T. There are 15 equation
entries needed to complete that page which you will find at the
each cache site. You don’t need to be a fan to enjoy this
cache series, but a true Losties will be able to see many (but
probably not all) synchronicities. Good Luck
