Treasures of Frankfort #5 The South Shore of Crystal Lake is in Crystal Lake Township, but our mailing address is Frankfort. That’s why I am calling the lake a Frankfort Treasure. Crystal Lake is such a special place of serenity and breathtaking beauty. I cannot think of a more spectacular place with the uniqueness of crystal clear water, sandy shores, sun blazing dawns, and sunsets with every color in an artist’s palette. It is a forever place in my heart!
