Cornish Colours No 12 - ROSEworthy Traditional Cache
REDRUTH ROAMERS: Went out to cache site this afternoon. Quickly found the container beside the telegraph pole. Quite wet inside but the double potted log was perfect.
Calling it a day on this one.
Thanks to all that visited.
Andrew, Redruth Roamers.

Cornish Colours No 12 - ROSEworthy
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is the 12th in a series of caches that are based on places that have colours in its name.
These can all be found on the 1:25,000 OS maps of Cornwall.
Roseworthy is a small hamlet of about 10 properties, 1 mile from Allet and a little less from Shortlanesend, on the B3284 Chybucca ( A30 ) to Truro road. Not to be mistaken with the Roseworthy that can be found on the old road from Camborne to Hayle.
There is room to park one vehicle just off the road and slightly below the farm gate,(see parking waypoint below), at the top of lane to which you need to walk down to the cache site.
Just pass the cache area are the properties of Little Roseveth.
The cache is a small camo lock & lock box, with log, pen and swaps.
When you have found the cache, walk a few metres more and there is a delightful pond in the course of a small stream, which eventually flows into the river Kenwyn at New Mill, and then on to flow through the centre of Truro.
There is a slatted, wooden pontoon out to the middle of the pond, but the timberwork is a bit dodgy in places. Try at your own risk!!
