A series dedicated to the many wonderful friends I've made while geocaching.
This geocache was a birthday gift from GeoSick. He presented a ready-to-hide container to me, complete with swag and log book. I've used it for his entry in my GeoPals series.
When I met GeoSick I knew he was going to be a fun and active geocacher. Feverishly wanting to learn more about the different aspects of the game and the nuances of a hunt, he is open to search for a crazy hide in the dark. He will also keep you on your toes in a FTF race.
GeoSick is also devoted to his geocaching family - his wife, MamaSick, son, GeoSickJr and daughter, ManderrPanderr, often accompany him on geocache runs. When he's not geocaching, you can find him supporting them or participating alongside them in various activities, such as soccer, dance, Tae Kwon Do and the Boy Scouts of America®.
Aside from hunting and hiding many geocaches in the Lewisville area, such as his Drive-by Caching series, A Bucket In The Woods- Multi and Telephone Pole, GeoSick is a vocal fan of the Texas Rangers. I'm not certain, but I believe his bedroom looks like this:
So, the next time you see a guy in a Rangers shirt carrying a GPS receiver through the creeks of Lewisville, it just might be GeoSick.
A quote from the honoree when discussing the complexities and politics of geocaching:
"I just wanna find a bucket in the woods."
Well, here you go, my friend!
FTF honors go to GeoSick, auctnr and polkaspot.
