One day while traveling down I-5, I took the detour onto Derrick Avenue and Coalinga-Mendota Road to get two caches. I realized that this little stretch of road would be a great place to have a series of caches for weary travelers who might need a break from either northbound or southbound I-5.
This I-5 Cache Bypass is 15.5 miles long and adds an extra 3.2 miles to your overall route. It currently has 15 caches along the route and I would welcome other cachers to add more quality caches along this route and join the fun.
Right off the southbound I-5 exit ramp. If you want to pick up 9-10 caches along this little side route, get this cache and head south.
Update 11/20/2017: I have decided to archive my remaining I5CB caches with the exception of this one. Feel free to replace it or throw a new log in it if you find it missing. I was going to pull it, but realized it makes a great break to the I-5 that we all occasionally need.
