Geocache Description:

This cylinder tube is just a few feet from the paved walking/biking trail inside of Maumee Bay State Park. There is very close parking available on the West side of the big sledding hill.

Maumee Bay State Park is mostly knowed for it's veiw/access to Lake Erie and it's vast amount of recreational facilities. This little spot is one of my most favorites in the park. This should be a pretty quick grab with only a very small need to bush whack. I don't know the official name of this pond, or if it even has a name but this beautiful little pond reminds me of what Walden pond should look like. We received special premission from the State Park Manger to place this cache. The park closes at dark so search during daylight hours. Be sure to replace the cache with care.
