Geocache Description:

Every once in a while it is time to return to the basics of geocaching. The ABCs of Geocaching series will test you on your basic skills and maybe stretch you a little bit as well.

Y is for Yellow Smiley. It's what we are all hoping to get. That yellow smiley that says that we have indeed found the cache. What we hope not to get is the blue frown that says that we tried very hard, but could not find the cache. Hopefully you will get the prized yellow smiley and not the blue frown on this cache.

This cache is located near the Meigs Historical Site outside of Dayton, Virginia. Be sure to walk up to the nearby civil war marker after (or before) finding this cache. There is a pull off for parking nearby the posted coordinates.
