Sharon was attending a knitting get-together in Tehachapi, so
Jim took advantage of this to do some caching, trainspotting and
letterboxing in an area we'd not been to, before. He was rather
surprised to see just how few caches there are in this area, so he
added some to sort of "encourage" the locals to visit the area, and
add a few of their own.
You are looking for a pill bottle, uncammoed, in a common sort
of spot. There is a good pullout area a little west of the cache,
on the "outside" shoulder. There is very little traffic on this
section of the Caliente-Bodfish Road, and you can see both
directions for quite a ways from the wide spot, but you should
still take care.
This is a gorgeous spot in the Fall, with the grasses all dead,
so the predominant color is tawny gold. In the Spring, this area
could be a riot of colors. Hope you enjoy it, whatever time of year
you visit.
Good luck! Have fun
