Another cache in my busman's holiday series. This cache is placed quite close to Donaghadee bus station.
Donaghadee has been described as one of the best kept secrets of the Ulster coastline, an ancient gem of a town which has somehow managed to preserve much of its past glory while keeping pace with the times. It has changed little in the past century, calmly retaining its charm and character in a fast changing world. Donaghadee (from the Irish: Domhnach Daoi meaning "Daoi’s Church") is a small town in County Down, Northern Ireland, situated on the east coast, about 18 miles from Belfast and about 8 miles north east of Newtownards. The fishing port lies on the Ards Peninsula about 5 miles south east of Bangor.
