Geocache Description:

This cache is placed at a lookout for the Bison in the park. You may get to see them if you are here at the right time. They feed them at around 10 am on Saturdays. Gift shop is usually closed on Saturday but is open during feeding time!

Rangers know this cache is here but stealth still may be required.

Foss State Park sits on parts of the 60 miles of shoreline of western Oklahoma's largest lake, Foss Lake. Recreational activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, paddle boating, swimming and camping. Facilities include 137 total campsites, equestrian campsites, picnic areas, 2 group picnic shelters, 5 comfort stations with showers, 5 boat ramps (4 are lighted), 3 playgrounds, a swimming beach, a marina and a full service restaurant. Warrior Trail, a 17-mile multi-use trail, can be enjoyed by hikers, equestrians and mountain bike enthusiasts. Campgrounds are open year round, except for the North campground, which closes from October to May.
