A small box near to old St. Briavels Station on the Wye Valley Line
The station opened at the same time as the railway line in in 1876 and closed with the line in 1964. The station buildings are still intact and are now used as cottages for fishing. You can park the other side of the road near the bus shelter. The line has now reverted to farmland but site of the track can still be seen. Note the toll house built on the end of the bridge. St Briavels is miles away up a steep hill, I wonder how much they used the station. Congratulation Buttyboat FTF
