Whilst walking in the woods near Fernhurst, I found a piece of
screwed-up parchment. Many hours were spent deciphering the words
and sketch map.................
From what was left on the burned paper I made out the following
- ".....wizard of the woods in the village known as
Fern-Hurst....... and afraid of the modern folk who no longer
believe in magic and the little people of the
forest.............dragon eggs left in my possession.......find
before they hatch......PLEASE FIND THEM"
I've also redrawn the sketch map.....

From the parking place, take the path south across the magical
stream which is the boundary between the world of the human
villagers and the old world of the little people of the
woods.
Pass the wooden house where small folks meet and carry on, through
the metal kissing gate, past the house of the giants. They have
fenced off their castle and their woods. Walk between these fences,
across a bridge, up a hill and then you will find yourself at the
place the wizard drew on the map. You will know when you are there
as you will see the path to the gate on your left. The dragon eggs
are in the last, short, stretch of woodland before another gate
into a field.
The Dragon Quest requires you to locate the eight dragon eggs
and use the information you find to locate the cache.
1 is a huge multi-trunked tree, 2 is high in a large multi-trunked
tree, 3 is a tree, 4 is a stump, 5 is a dead birch, 6 is a large
tree and 7&8 are multi-trunked (coppiced) trees.
The eggs are not covered over and please replace them as
found.
