Geocache Description:

This is part of The Living Desert Geocache Series. The Living Desert is a wonderful place to learn more about the flora, fauna and geoscience of the world's as well as our local desert. It's situated within close proximity of the legendary San Andreas Fault.

The Living Desert is a great place to bring a family, go explore and spend the day. All caches in this series are accessible after entering the Park. Entry fee is required. If entering the hiking trails, please bring PLENTY of water, and cell phone. Watch for the usual desert critters, snakes, spiders and the like.

This cache is seasonal, because the trail system that supports it is open Oct 1.
